Mission Statement:

The Re-Use Project strives to raise awareness to Environmental Impacts through creative educational programming using single use materials to further promote conversations about our planet's health.

About The Re-Use Project:

The Re-Use Project is a collaborative group of creatives with the goal to raise awareness to Environmental Issues through creating Art with used materials based in San Diego County. We are a program under the umbrella of The Hill Street Country Club, a non-profit arts organization located in Downtown Oceanside. Our work is community driven and works to bring together all groups of people to contemplate our impact on the environment and ways we can as individuals waste less. We are educationally focused to bring attention to the serious problems our global environments are facing to the youth and general public. Through conversations and understanding we hope to shed light on the problem of waste at large and the importance of accountability.

About our work in the Community:

Our organization has hosted a variety of Online Zoom Discussions with the focuses of Art and Sustainability, Environmental Racism, Art and Science and Artists highlights working in the field of Sustainability and/or Creative work. Our members have also hosted workshops for the community teaching attendees step by step how to create sustainable masterpieces!
