is an expressive experiment of singing dancing, and playing instruments to popular world music. Children and their parents/guardians will have an opportunity to socialize with their child while engaging in fun music, movement and art activities.

In this class is an encouraging and supporting cultural diversity. Providing a platform of fun music and activities to help expand each child’s horizons, this class will be encouraging children and their families to explore the world by enjoying great global melodies, rhythms and movements.

Introducing youth to music around the world, we will provide a space of curiosity for children to learn and recognize differences between cultures.

We will learn about indigenous musical traditions from cultures, instruments made from nature, songs, chants, clothing and more…

Children will practice self-soothing practices through yoga and light breath work while listening to relaxing world music in the background

Throughout childhood there is a lot going on for kids at any given time, they are constantly assessing the world around them. It can be difficult for a child to regulate their emotions. So apart from all the learning benefits music provide,. It JUST FEELS GOOD!

Artist, Kizzy Sacthell

Born in San Diego CA, a preschool teacher and a love child of two parents who were art lovers. Kizzy has been singing ever since the age of 6 years old. From girls’ choir, to show choir, to writing songs and recording them. Kizzy has sang with different roots & culture reggae bands in San Diego. “Music has been instrumental in any healing processes that I have gone through from childhood into adulthood. It still is to this day. Providing a musical worldly curriculum for the children in my class gave them a sense of what the music is like around the globe, while developing other key cognitive skills.
